On 21 November 2013, Harman Korte (member of the executive board AFM) held a speech with the ICMA (International Capital Markets Association) on the impact of regulatory reform on capital markets. In his speech Harman Korte shared some of the AFM’s observations in respect of this topic. In his speech he focused on three main issues, which are: policy response to the financial crisis, where the capital markets stand today and finally some concluding remarks on the future regulatory reform.
